Job Title: HR Project Manager

Location: Central London (City area) with the potential to work from home a couple of days per week once you have settled into the role.

Contract type: fixed term contract for 4-6 months initially

Duration: 4 months initially with a very good chance of extension

Hours: Full-time

Salary: £40-50k depending upon experience

Start: ASAP

Here is a little bit about what will be keeping you busy…

You will be focused primarily on key HR projects that our client needs support with managing. One of these projects will focus on the updating of 35-38 handbooks across the EMEA region that were last updated in 2014. HR want these updated to ensure that a lot of the ‘junk’ is removed and these handbooks are functional and address the differences for each region. You will shorten the first section that provides company specific information and update the second half that is country specific. You will work closely with the HR team to validate what you are producing and this work will require a strong eye for detail and ability to craft sentences that can be easily understood in different regions.

In addition to the handbooks project, you will also look at how overtime is paid across the business as they look to align how it is offered across the organisation. There will be various elements that you will need to consider such as systems updates, country specific requirements and how overtime policies are coordinated.

Once these projects are successfully delivered, there will be opportunities for you to pick up other work, hence the real possibility of the contract being extended.

Who are we looking for?

As outlined above, project management ability and real attention to detail is key here. You will be a strong HR generalist and if you have worked with client groups across EMEA then that would certainly be advantageous.

You should have created and updated handbooks previously so good employee relations experience would be good. You will also need to be incredibly numerate to manage the overtime project as you look at factors, time and a half, double time, weekly hours and weekend rates for the business.

It does not matter which industry you have worked in, we are looking for a self-starter that is a good communicator that can escalate issues as they arise. This is a really friendly and close-knit team so we are looking for someone that works with passion and also a bit of good humour.
