This role is a really autonomous recruitment role. You will work within the HR team to manage the complete end to end recruitment process, including recruitment administration. You will also carry out generalist HR tasks relating to the employee life cycle. The role is full time, but flexibility with start times is available.

My client are based in the North Kent area.

Description

  • Work with managers to establish skills gaps in the company
  • Design the job descriptions for each role and post them on various job boards
  • Use various other innovative recruitment techniques to find suitable candidates
  • Manage the effective and consistent communication with prospective candidates
  • Screen CVs and arrange interviews
  • Conduct the interview process
  • Manage the offer stage with candidates, including the onboarding process
  • Carry out adhoc recruitment administration (right to work checking, references etc.)
  • Carry out generalist HR tasks eg. dealing with ER cases such as absence, sickness, disciplinaries and grievances
  • Update policies and procedures and act as a point of contact for employee queries

Profile

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a strong recruitment specialist
  • Have previous experience working in a HR capacity, carrying out a generalist HR remit
  • Be able to effectively manage the recruitment process from beginning to end without continuous support
  • Have had previous experience working with management to establish missing skills in the team
  • Be an effective communicator
  • Be CIPD Level 5 qualified or above
  • Be a team player

It is essential to have previous work experience in either manufacturing, public sector or industrial sectors

It is essential to be able to drive due to infrequent travel to the other site in Kent.
