Occupational Health Nurse - Kent
Our Nationwide renowned client is looking for an Occupational Health Nurse on an ad-hoc basis.
Role Responsibilities
• Carry out Health assessments and screening to assess fitness for duty. This includes conducting Spirometry, Audiology and Vision Screening, clinical measurements and Drug and Alcohol sampling
• Provide advice on Personal Protection Equipment relating to health issues
• Support Occupational Health Advice in providing advice within their sphere of experience and training
• Incident response as required
Qualifications, Skills and experience
- Registered nurse
Desirable:
- Occupational First Aid Qualification
- Qualification/training in carrying out Spirometry, Audiology, Vision Screening, Drug and Alcohol sampling, ECGs and Venepuncture
- Experience in carrying out Spirometry, Audiology, Vision Screening, Drug and Alcohol sampling, ECGs and Venepuncture (Spirometry, Audiology, Vision Screening key skills/experience)
- Good interpersonal skills/bedside manner
- Openness to change
