Occupational Health Advisor

OH Advisor 

Our nationwide client has a unique opportunity within their team for an 
experienced Occupational Health Nurse/Advisor. This is a permanent role 
working 24 hours a week across 3 days (Monday mandatory).
Salary is - £27,667 - £31,500k (dependent on experience). 

Main Responsibilities:
Assisting in the implementation of OH policy and protocols to nationally 
accepted standards and, where requested, contribute to the development of 
those policies and their supporting procedures.
Undertaking OH assessments in management referral providing written 
reports advising on work capability and rehabilitation as required.
Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of, and adherence to policies, 
procedures and Home Office guidelines.
Work in partnership with the Medical Advisor regarding matters of work 
capability, referral case management and rehabilitation.
Providing Occupational Health advice and support to staff at all levels 
to include health promotion and health education activities as required.
Undertaking health screening.
Any other duties on the request of the manager.

Ideal Candidate:
RGN with an OH Diploma, Degree or equivalent.
2-3 years post registration experience.
Proven experience of Occupational Health.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

Salary is - £27,667 - £31,500 pro rata (dependent on experience).
Location: Stockport (one location).
