Senior HR Advisor

Oakleaf Partnership are working with one of the Big Four firms who are looking to recruit a Senior HR Advisor to join the team on a permanent or 12 month FTC basis in Watford. You will be working in the HR Advisory Team and responsible for providing business focused and best practice HR support to your business area.

You will be responsible for (but not limited to):

Proactively developing good relationships with key stakeholders

Resolving straightforward and complex people issues to deliver pragmatic outcomes

Keeping up to date with employment law and advising on disciplinary, grievance and performance issues

Producing timely management information to inform salary and bonus decisions

Assisting with surveying and benchmarking of salaries against internal and extenral comparators

Advising and managing the process for promotions

Working closely with agencies and the recruitment team to identify solutions to resourcing needs

Assustubg with succession and pipeline planning

Conducting exit interviews where requested

Managing workload and own diary, delegating where necessary

Taking part in and contributing to both functional and company wide projects

Assisting with the interview and selection process within the HR Advisory team

The successful candidate will ideally be/have:

CIPD qualified or in the process of studying the CIPD qualification

A proven ability to build relationships and communicate with people at all levels

A proven ability to work to deadlines and work without supervision

Strong problem solving and facilitation skills

An excellent communicator (verbal and written)

Strong organisational, literacy and numeracy skills

A proven ability in coaching and have strong influencing skills

Excellent IT skills
