About the role:

As the HR Manager, you will be part of the Senior Management Team, leading on HR issues and supporting on developing the on-going culture of the business. Managing one HR Advisor, you will work closely with the business collaborating with the senior managers and team leaders by providing sound advice and guidance to support efficiencies and productivity in employees and contributing to driving growth and change through sound decision making and best HR practice.

Responsibilities:
Support senior managers to develop their people
Manage all employee relations issues
Oversee recruitment
Lead the annual and mid year pay review
Monitor gaps in performance
Review all HR policies
Manage occupational health provision
Review and manage the induction process
Oversee the internal communications
Champion the recognition awards

Ideal person:

CIPD qualification, MCIPD preferred
HR generalist background with a working knowledge across HR functional disciplines such as employee relations, recruitment, learning and development
Demonstrable success in handling a wide variety of employee relations issues with a heavy focus on service delivery
You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and a positive approach to all areas of your work
Effective consultative and influencing skills in a demanding environment with changing priorities and multiple stakeholders
Professional, discrete and solid understanding of the importance of confidentiality
Proficient in MS Office

Desirable:
Experience of working in a target driven manufacturing environment
Previous experience of working with a HR system
Budget management experience
Able to travel to sister sites on occasions
