A US Law firm based in The City are recruiting for a Senior HR Advisor to join their team. This role will provide day-to-day operational support to the London office as part of the wider HR team. Reporting into the Head of HR, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

Acting as first point of contact for all employee queries, ensuring that policies and procedures are appropriately and fairly applied

Assisting with the on-boarding processes for new joiners, in conjunction with Recruitment and Professional Development

Assisting with the management of parental leaves, returns to work planning, KIT days, arranging parental transition coaching etc.

Providing support to the Payroll and Benefits Officer on employee benefits administration, management and queries

Providing support to the Recruitment Manager with graduate recruitment activities

Developing expertise on HRIS

Monitoring absence, including return to work interviews and occupational health referrals

Managing flexible working requests and ensuring reference requests are processed in a timely manner

Assisting with performance issues and investigating complaints

Supporting on Firm's diversity and inclusion initiatives

Ad hoc project work

As the Senior HR Advisor, you will possess:

Strong academics, ideally to degree level and CIPD

Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, ideally within Legal

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels

Strong attention to detail

Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Good working knowledge of English employment law and dealing with ER issues
