ArtisHR are currently supporting an exciting financial services organization in Bristol with the recruitment of a HR Operations Manager, this is a permanent full time post paying up to £45,000 + Benefits such as 15% bonus, pension, 25 days holiday etc.

SUMMARY:

-To support our HR Strategy, we are looking for an experienced HR Shared Services Manager to join our HR team at our head office in Bristol and lead our recently formed Shared Services Team, currently comprising of 4 HR administrators.
-Reporting to a HR Business Partner, you will be a key contributor in the Generalist function supporting the application of policies and practices and ensuring that we manage our governance and risk responsibilities. You will provide a comprehensive HR service centre delivery and will be a technical expert in your specialism. You will be CIPD qualified (or equivalent), and experienced leading a dedicated HR service centre, preferably within financial services.
-As a technical expert you will manage complex HR Projects and be the product owner for a wide number of key HR activities including immigration management, pre-employment vetting and GDPR compliance.
-You will challenge the status quo and develop new and innovative solutions to HR practice.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

-Management of the HR Shared Services team. This team of HR Professionals manage the transactional administration for the HR function including administration of new starters, pre-employment screening, system administration, absence recording, and HR queries.
-Full responsibility for the Shared Services function and ability to guide and shape its strategy.
-Ownership of technical HR processes including immigration and visa management, FCA applications and GDPR.
-A thorough understanding of the key deliverables of a Shared Services team and the metrics that are used to monitor performance.
-Analysis of associated risks and control factors to mitigate.
-Business Continuity Owner
-Embed a continuous improvement methodology ensuring all procedures are fit for purpose and achieve a positive user experience.
-Sound knowledge of Employment Law, HR Policy and how to manage and comply with these in the administrative context.
-Great stakeholder management skills, able to communicate at all levels up to Director.
-Management of projects
-Manage the relationships with the HR Advisors and Business Partners to ensure a joined up approach to Human Resources.

Essential Experience or Qualifications
CIPD Level 7 or equivalent HR qualification
*Management of HR professionals and how to develop their knowledge and progress their careers.
*Expert knowledge of HR Policy and procedure and how to apply this to the Shared Services Team
Management of GDPR
*Employment Law and managing this in in a Shared Services function
*Project Management
*Immigration and Visa management
*Employee Relations
*Risk management and mitigation
