Associate HR Business Partner

ASAP start West London

£33,000 - £35,000 perm

Oakleaf Partnership are working with a well-known exciting brand in the leisure industry. The client is looking for a proactive HR Advisor looking for the next step in their career business partnering who has experience already within either retail, hospitality, FMCG or leisure. This role will be reporting in to a senior business partner, you will be supporting them in some exciting projects. You will need to have previous experience working closely with line managers on various people related issues such as performance management, absence, disciplinary, grievance.

Supporting line managers to effectively manage performance to a consistent standard

To take a collaborative and coaching approach to ensure that relevant staff and managers are fully aware of their responsibilities and obligations when dealing with HR matters, and that any non-compliance is identified and speedily resolved

Support the creation of continued up to date content and the subsequent delivery of training to ensure line managers are fully competent and confident in dealing with employee relations matters. (e.g. suspension, disciplinary, capability grievances, dismissals, appeals etc)

Provide coaching and practical support for line managers to support consistency in all HR related practices

Support line managers to consistently and proactively manage long term sickness absence, ensuring each case is dealt with appropriately taking into account both individual and business needs

Support the Senior HR Business Partner and the wider HR team with change initiatives across the business specifically with any acquisitions, disposals, department restructures and redundancy procedures.

Measure success through people metrics

Work with the HR Manager to create and develop a People-Metrics dashboard.

Demonstrate employee turnover, performance management, resourcing levels, employee relations trends etc. (KPI's

KPI's are to be analysed, discussed and proposals to be discussed monthly with the Senior HR Business Partner
