A facilities management business are looking for a HR Manager for a site in Cumbria.

Based near Whitehaven, you will look after the full operational HR remit for a specific business area and report into the general manager of the site. This is a stand-alone position for this client but you will have support from a wider network including offsite centres of excellance. The position will require an individual with proven experience working with trade unions. Is this your area of expertise?

We are looking for a confident HR Manager who has worked in a unionised environment such as utilities/manufactoring/logistics/distribution etc, and can work autonomously. You will liase directly onsite with site managers and take control all HR life-cycle including Employee Relations.

The Role Details:

* Support management in the consistent application of HR policies and procedures.

* Support management in the undertaking of disciplinary & capability cases

* Liaise with the centralised ER Team, as required providing on-site HR support for more complex ER cases.

* Attending the contract management meetings as appropriate and ensuring the HR agenda is represented fully in relation to business decisions at contract/site level.
