Job Details

Independent Harrogate-based business are looking to recruit an experienced, motivated and passionate HR Advisor to support the business and join their team for 12 months (maternity cover).


The HR team cover a variety of different responsibilities such as recruitment, on-boarding and employee engagement. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual with an abundance of initiative to join this exciting, friendly HR team.


Due to business growth, the successful candidate will add value to the team, create strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business and work with them to provide learning and development and talent management. During your time here, you will be encouraged to lead on HR projects and highlight process improvements and be fully engaged within the journey of the business.

To be successful within the role, the following skills and knowledge will be required;  

  • CIPD qualified to a minimum of Level 5
  • Good knowledge of employment law and best practice
  • Strong communications skills at all levels
  • Team player
  • Able to prioritise own work loads and make decisions independently
  • Enthusiasm and able to influence
  • Be a people advocate
