About the opportunity

You will be coaching leaders across a whole business or function, using your expertise to help them create engaged teams performing at the highest level. In the moments that matter, you will provide senior level leadership teams and their HR Business Partners with the most up-to-date technical HR knowledge, high-level strategic planning skills and exceptionally effective coaching.

By building the strongest relationships of trust with your high-level line managers you will become a key influencer.  You will input your expertise into everything from attracting the right people to driving engagement, talent reviews to performance management.

In particular, you will provide skillful management of complex employee relation cases, identifying, pre-empting and mitigating risk. Throughout transformation programmes and sensitive organisational decisions, your advice will be vital. Whether you’re providing meaningful insights from business matrics or aligning all your initiatives with our wider people plan, your input will be highly strategic and highly influential.

About you

Your natural approach to interacting with key business leaders is an enquiring one, as you seek to understand what is going on at a deeper level. You will be driven to co-create solutions that solve key employee and business challenges, across a business of considerable scope, size, complexity and risk. To do so you will need extensive HR experience. You combine the technical knowledge and organisational understanding needed to offer sound judgement, timely interventions and coaching that is really listened to by senior leaders.

You will also have strong business acumen, and a good understanding of the commercial implications of HR decisions. Ultimately, you’ll act with integrity and remember that HR is an enabler of the business ensuring HR solutions lead to enhanced business effectiveness and results.
