My client are a media and events company based in Surrey who are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their business in a standalone capacity. This is a true generalist which requires someone to be both happy and comfortable to roll up your sleeves with everything day to day, but also really partner with the business. This will be perfect for an experience HRBP who enjoys autonomy, leading on all aspects of HR and making positive changes in quite a traditional business.

You will report into the Group Head of HR to help develop and implement new HR initiatives in line with the HR strategy. You will manage the HR function on a day to day basis for both their permanent and freelancer staff, being the key point of contact for Managers and Head of Departments.

Responsibilities include:

Advising the management team and board on employment law and complex ER cases

Create business cases for a number of HR projects including Organisation Design & Development, Recruitment, Employer Branding, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Performance Management and Reward & Recognition

Develop and implement compliant employment policies and procedures

Manage the recruitment, on-boarding process and induction of new staff

Develop and integrate chosen HR software and HRIS system

Create relevant written content for Marketing and website use

Contribute to the on-going development of the organisational structure and drafting of job descriptions
