Your new company
Hays Human Resources are currently working on an exclusive basis to recruit an exciting role of Senior HR Business Partner for a dynamic and expanding niche industrial organisation. This business is in the operations/technical field and has active and new sites/projects along the North East Coast. Due to company expansion and an Internal promotion, they now require an experienced Senior HR Business Partner.

Your new role
This exciting, challenging and varied role will be looking after all aspects of HR Business Partnering - building collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders, supporting the process of aligning HR strategy with the business strategy - and also ensuring the delivery of a HR Provision that adds measurable value to the customers for the benefit of the business.

The Senior Business Partner will work closely with the UK Head of HR and the other Senior HR Business Partners, and the wider HR team in the UK - as well as Global Business Partners and Specialists in Europe - to provide a seamless HR Service to the East Coast operations.

This exciting, challenging and varied role will be a true "blended" operational and strategic role - being part of the Senior Management team - delivering both the people strategy and operational HR management in a complex matrix organisation. You will also assist with regular large scale projects such as change management, Talent Management, Recruitment, OD and L&D.

Primarily based at their main site in North East Lincolnshire, your role will be to Business Partner a growing business division, its SMT, Managers and staff with all HR and wider business issues. Regular travel to other key operational sites up the North East Coast will be involved, aswell as occasional travel to London and Europe.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will be an experienced Senior HR Generalist/Business Partner from a fast paced, matrix environment - ideally from a background of a mix of blue/white collar/ technical staff with a variety of shift patterns/rostering. You will hold a full and varied HR experience portfolio (including business partnering, operational HR management, change management, OD, L&D and other HR projects), aswell as wider business and problem solving experience in order to support multi-sites and the Senior Managers.
You will be comfortable operating as the only HR contact for the region, in this growing business sector, (although you will be supported by a wider HR business team and shared service/transactional centre elsewhere in the UK).
Ideally you will be degree qualified and hold the CIPD qualification (or similar accredited professional qualification.)

What you'll get in return
You will be offered a completive salary for this role, depending on qualifications, experience and sector background. You will work 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday (normal hours are 9am to 5.30pm, but this is flexible due to the opening hours of the sites covered) A competitive benefits package is also on offer including 30 days annual leave, non-contributory pension scheme, healthcare, DIS and other benefits.
