Currently working with a client who are searching for a Talent Acquisition Partner with a background in Pharma to join them for 8 months on an interim basis with a view to becoming perm afterwards. The role is a unique opportunity to own a process as you will have sole responsibility for setting up and running the recruitment function including EVP, setting up a portal, PSL and direct sourcing.

The role of Talent Acquisition Partner will be to provide expert, professional advice and guidance to all recruiting managers on recruitment-related matters to enable the delivery of commercial goals. You will be accountable for designated recruitment operational activities whilst also supporting and contributing to the full spectrum of departmental activity.

Duties will include;

  • Identification of a group of preferred supplier list of agencies covering all roles within the business, based on business need and priority.
  • Management of the preferred supplier list of agencies in line with agreed KPI's and effective and ongoing partnership with agency representatives.
  • With the HR Advisor, ensure correct contracts, purchase orders and tendering processes are raised and followed as required.
  • Manages the candidate application process via the online recruitment portal, liaising with recruiting managers, direct applicants and agencies as appropriate, providing constructive feedback.
  • Place roles with agencies and on job sites and portals as appropriate and in line with departmental budgets.
  • Screen CV's, liaising with agencies, arrange and participate in interviews and assessments.
  • Lead interview/assessment centre events ensuring that recruiting managers adhere to internal standards and highest quality intake is secured.
  • With relevant stakeholders, design and manage interview and assessment centre documentation and exercises in a timely and accurate manner.
  • All relevant assessment centre paperwork and administration collated and filed centrally, with feedback reports and/or meetings conducted in a timely and constructive manner to support personal developmental needs.
  • Offer letters, contracts of employment and associated documents are produced and issued according to internal SLAs.
  • All pre-employment checks (including references, qualification certificates, driving licence, passports) are completed robustly with any issues escalated to HR Director.
  • Key starter information is shared with other Head Office departments at the earliest opportunity to ensure seamless new starter process flow through Company.
  • Liaising with internal departments including IT, Training and Finance regarding company inductions
  • Arrange ad-hoc head office inductions for new starters.


The successful candidate for this role will have a strong background in an in house recruitment role and MUST have substantial previous experience of recruitment within a pharmaceutical sales and marketing environment. You will have experience of managing recruitment agency service providers and other 3rd party suppliers and ensuring that services and supplies occur in timely and expected manner. Knowledge of best practice recruitment techniques to drive high quality candidate attraction and selection is essential as is knowledge of assessment centre techniques, exercises and potential suppliers. You will also have the ability to managing a busy and varied workload, with changing priorities.
