The Opportunity
A leading professional services firm based in the City is recruiting for an experienced Learning Business Partner to join an established world class wider HR team. You will translate your clients' business requirements into realistic and achievable goals that are in line with the firm-wide business strategy. Working in tandem with the Design and Delivery teams, you will ensure technical training is on track and on budget. You will influence, motivate, coach and challenge those around you- serving as a role model to others.
The Detail
Key accountabilities:
*Building trusted advisor relationships with business stakeholders in the respective business units
*Driving the implementation of a business unit-specific learning strategy which is aligned to the Centre of Excellence strategy
*Participating in an annual needs analysis in the respective business units to gain an understanding of current and future learning needs including business drivers
*Representing learning on appropriate management committees within the business units and influencing the agenda to ensure that the learning business case is fulfilled
*Participating in Design & Delivery team projects by bringing an expert view of the business to ensure business solutions are innovative and pragmatic and consistent with the business objectives
*As an expert, lead on business unit/competency projects and represent the business area into projects for business-driven technical curriculum
*Sitting in design and delivery project meetings to ensure alignment with client needs
*Managing key business content developers to work within the Design & Delivery construct and ensure the final product is fit for purpose and within time and cost constraints
*Providing management information to the business units and measure the effectiveness of learning
*Ensuring the business units and technical learning curriculum remains relevant and is able to adapt to changing business requirements
Skills and Experience
* A degree at Bachelor level
*A background in Professional/Financial Services or a complex matrix corporate Additional training, certifications/qualifications in relevant subject area
*Prior experience at manager level and have a successful track record in core HR competencies and associated risks
*A strong background influencing, coaching, educating, challenging and managing senior stakeholders
*Strong commercial acumen and financial management
*Ability to comprehend and deliver towards the effective development of L&D and OD strategies whilst also understanding the potential risks associated with each strategy
*The ability to translate client business needs into realistic and achievable plans in collaboration with the Centre of Excellence
*Proven team leadership and management skills Ability to create a collaborative, high-performing and motivating team environment
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills to address diverse organisational stakeholders at all levels
*Experience in project management
