As ER Manager you will lead a team of specialist advisers providing employee relations advice and guidance for approximately 5000 employees across the UK.

You, along with your team will deliver a first class, timely solutions-focused service to line managers on ER and employment law best practice and policy.

Description

As Employee Relations Manager your responsibilities will include;


* Developing and leading the approach to Employee Relations in the UK, using data and insights to identify trends and themes to help shape the roadmap for the People Advisory team
* Leading, coaching and developing the a ER team to deliver employee relations and case management which typically include investigations, well-being, performance and change management.
* Taking the lead on complex ER cases and supporting and coaching the ER Advisers through their cases
* Working with external solicitors to ensure Tribunal claims are managed effectively and efficiently.
* Advising on legislation changes and ensuring that policies and procedures remain legally compliant.
* Coaching, guiding and advising and managers on a wide range of people management topics and employee relations queries ensuring a fair, consistent and legally compliant approach is taken
* Providing training, in collaboration with Legal, on Employee Relations matters for managers.
* Taking the lead for the design and implementation of change management projects including reorganisations and mergers and acquisition activity
* Supporting the delivery of local People Plans to enable the regional strategic priorities
* Identifying and implementing initiatives to support and maintain high levels of employee engagement

Profile

Successful applicants will have demonstrable experience of the following;

* Extensive HR experience with expertise in employment law
* Sound knowledge and experience of performance management, disciplinaries, grievances, well-being initiatives, change management and engagement
* Ability to advise in a skilful, authentic way and have excellent influencing skills.
* A flexible and pragmatic in your approach and enjoy working with ambiguity
* Strong communication, coaching and social skills and care deeply about building relationships
* Good judgement and analytical skills to assess options and craft solutions, whilst identifying and evaluating risks.
* Confident with using and interpreting data for reporting purposes and to identify trends to inform our priorities.
* You will be passionate about continuous improvement and employee engagement helping us maintain Arm's culture
* You will have excellent organisation skills with the ability to progress and prioritise a multi-faceted workload effectively

Ideally your experience will include:
* Previous experience of managing a team including setting objectives and agreeing development plans

Job Offer

Salary up to 40,000 dependant on experience.
