An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Learning & Development Professional to join a travel and leisure business.
You will be working within the Talent and Development team, the purpose of this role is to drive the learning and development agenda which supports the delivery of the people strategy and the needs of the business.
The Head of L&D leads a team to design, develop and deliver learning and development systems and interventions which enable the business to achieve its vision and purpose.
This role will lead a team of 8 including co-ordinators, specialists and external vendors. You will be accountable for defining the type and direction of learning interventions for Heathrow colleagues across a range of leadership, management, technical and functional skills.
To be considered for this role, it is essential that candidates can demonstrate significant experience in design and delivery of learning solutions and you must have a successful track record of balancing strategic thought with practical implementation. While commerce & industry experience is highly desirable, it is not essential however it is important that candidates have previously worked in large, global, matrix environments and are comfortable working with a high degree of ambiguity at times.
