Payroll and HR Manager, permanent job for global law firm in Manchester city centre - £40000+


Your new company

A global law firm based in Manchester City centre who have over 20 offices worldwide seeking to recruit a Payroll and HR Manager on a permanent basis.

Your new role

As the Hr Services manager you will be be responsible for the delivery of HR administration and payroll which equates to direct line management of approximately 13 within eh team with more on the HR side of things. You will provide operational leadership to the teams to ensure all customer services commitments are met or exceeded in accordance with SLA's. You will also be the Customer Relationship Manager for the service and third-party providers as well as the owner of continuous improvements and standardisation. Key duties will include:

  • Responsible for the delivery of payroll for 2500 employees worldwide
  • Responsible for management of five members of staff
  • Manage year end delivery, ensuring compliance with all statutory obligations


What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you must be an experienced HR professional with experience of managing an HR shared service function previously in a busy administrative function. You will be able to work under pressure, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment whilst delivering exceptional customer service.
