Job Details
Role: Employee Engagement Partner
Location: Birmingham & London
Salary: £45,000 - 50,000 plus benefits (including company car)
Key Responsibilities
Devising and delivering employee engagement sessions which communicate who the business are and where they are going; a conversation with, rather than a presentation to, our site based employees
Supporting project management teams with frontline IR support – in conjunction with, and complementary to, the existing support functions
Providing support with regard to the working rule agreements the workforce is employed under and offering guidance / clarity as needed
Link with the workforce planning team to ensure data matches the reality, is interpreted appropriately and presented meaningfully
Support Apprentice and Supervisor development programs
Support the strategy by offering insight into the region covered and identifying the most appropriate resource mix for new projects
Background
Good understanding of the concept and value of employee engagement
Experience of delivering presentations and Q&A sessions to a varied audience
Ability to consider both the individual and the whole, balancing the needs of single sites with the needs of the whole business, and explaining that persuasively
Experience of complex, multi-site and unionised organisations
History of building good relationships across different functions and levels of responsibility
Familiarity with the M&E sector and the working rule agreements in operation within it
