A newly formed Housing Organisation looking for an HR Adviser located in North London for 9 months (with potential to be extended).

Your new company

A newly formed Housing Organisation in North London is looking for an HR Adviser to join their growing team on a 9-month fixed-term contract, paying £28,000 - £34,000.

Your new role

You will be reporting into an HR Business Partner in a large HR team, where you will act as the first point of contact and provide guidance to staff and managers according to policy. This will include, coaching and educating managers on the breadth of HR policies and procedures. Your role will also manage recruitment campaigns, including writing adverts and using the Recruitment Management System (RMS) to deliver effective advertising strategies. Furthermore, you will essentially be advising Recruiting Managers about hiring and compliance processes. As an HR Adviser, your responsibility will also include supporting managers with day to day Employee Relations matters where you will be expected to attend disciplinary hearings.

As an individual, you will need to be proactive, collaborative and confident in delivering an efficient HR advisory service to multiple stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in your application, it is essential that you can demonstrate excellent knowledge of employment law and experience of practising these policies on day to day issues. You will be resilient and accountable, ensuring to provide accurate advice and support to staff and managers. You will also be experienced in using complex HR systems and managing day to day recruitment and resourcing matters. Furthermore, a CIPD qualification or a relevant HR professional qualification in desirable.
