Your new company
We have an exciting opportunity to join a market-leading engineering/manufacturing company who are looking to appoint a HRBP for their site in Bolton. The business has four sites across the UK and also have operations internationally with plans to expand.


Your new role
Reporting into Senior HRBP you will provide HR support in a stand-alone capacity for the businesses site in Bolton. Headcount wise the site has approximately 200 employees with a mixture of factory workers and office based staff with a range of job titles. Your role will be to provide generalist support to the employee base and support managers through various processes on a day to day basis. The business is just about to implement a new 3 year HR development plan meaning that there will be opportunities to get involved in various projects that will be taking place over the next 3 years. It will also be your responsibility to roll out all the changes to our own site with the support of the senior HR colleagues. The remit will be everything from advising managers & staff on ER matters, recruitment, talent planning, Learning & development, reward, HR systems and also being the point of contact for the unions.


What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this position will be somebody from an engineering/manufacturing/construction type background. The right candidate must be confident to work in a stand-alone capacity in a smaller SME type environment. Excellent experience of rolling gout change programmes would be essential for this position to help with the new plans that the business will be driving throughout. This position would suit an established HRBP/HR Manager who is ready for the next role that will give them an opportunity to implement change programmes or also may suit a candidate at a senior advisor level who is ready for the next stage of their career.
