ArtisHR are currently supporting an exciting business who are going through rapid growth with the recruitment of a newly created HR Business Partner to support Supply Chain Operations. Based in Bridgwater with National Travel - paying £50-55,000 with 20% OTE Bonus,

Role Purpose: Working in partnership with the management teams based in Head Office and distribution sites across the country, you will be an integral link between HR and Supply Chain Operations. Working closely with the newly appointed Supply Chain Director as well as senior operational management, this role will help facilitate delivery of the supply chain strategy that underpins the growth of the business, ensuring synergy with the overall strategic direction of HR.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

?Act as both an influencer and an enabler, providing a blend of strategic, tactical and operational focussed expert advice on a broad range of HR matters
?Establish HR as a key support and partner to Supply Chain Operations
?Design, develop and implement key strategies to facilitate change and improved business performance with the aim of adding value to the bottom line
?Work closely with Senior Managers to review and implement change through effective organisational design principles
?Support cultural change activity and delivery of both operational and companywide change programmes,
?Work pro-actively with senior managers to deliver effective workforce planning
?Work closely with the Recruitment and Learning and Development teams to support the needs of Operations
?Support and encourage a culture of employee engagement in line with the HR strategy
?Work with managers to define engagement strategies, timelines and relevant surveys, ensuring continuous improvement occurs
?Look at development opportunities, skills gaps and retention of talent
?Plan, communicate and facilitate succession planning discussions, actively working towards the reduction of single points of failure
?Work closely with colleagues across the HR function, ensuring synergy between the Business, HR and Supply Chain strategies
?Encourage and role-model continuous improvement to build a strong and collaborative HR Team that effectively supports the business.

Required Skills & Experience:

?Experienced HR BP with strong business acumen and ideally a background in partnering in fast paced logistics/distribution environments
?Strong influencing and interpersonal skills, at ease working with senior business leaders
lasting, constructive, and mutually beneficial relationships with other individuals and groups.
?Adaptability - Remains positive and resilient under pressure, adapts to change and uses support networks. Maintains or shifts focus on operational goals in response to changing organisational priorities. Controls and filters emotions in a constructive way.
?Commercial/Business awareness - Fully understands business priorities and aligns direction to match. Uses company knowledge and external market data to identify opportunities for success
?Comfortable with a 'roll your sleeves up' approach
?Able to work collaboratively and facilitate positive change in a growing business
?Proactive and credible with a good understanding of how business operates
?Broad HR knowledge with experience in OD, talent management, succession and engagement as well as good working knowledge of employment law
?Strong commercial acumen and cost focused mentality, with demonstrable experience of adding value to a business
?Proactive project management skills, able to manage multiple deadlines particularly on the 'nice to have' projects and not get waylaid by the operational/transactional aspects of HR
?Sensitive to helping move the business forward
