This role is suitable for an existing Learning and Development Coordinator wanting to help implement change in an already innovative and developing company.

This is a well known company based in Uxbridge.

Description

The key responsibilities of this Learning and Development Coordinator (L&D Coordinator) include:

  • Establishing systems and procedures to ensure an efficient and effective service is offered
  • Developing and maintaining accurate and easily accessible records and processes for all L&D activities and processes (inc. recording and monitoring attendance - ensuring that staff required to attend specific workshops are easily identified and followed up)
  • Assisting with the identification of L&D needs within the organisation through the completion of training needs analysis and feedback from managers and other staff
  • Guiding staff on training policies and procedures, including resolving or supporting the resolution of problems
  • Developing and maintain productive working relationships with external providers of learning solutions
  • Assisting with quarterly reporting as requested such as: creating and maintaining training activity records, updating training records and ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date
  • Establishing systems to record and produce regular reports on learning and development metrics, including spend, to agreed timescales.
  • Responsibility for the coordination and delivery of a range of projects and regular events - includes producing and keeping updated project plans, arranging meetings and ensuring systems and processes are established and projects delivered to agreed timescales
  • Coordinating the development and delivery of the organisation wide regular induction events for all new employees, as well as regularly reviewing content and continually updating it in line with feedback received
  • Supporting the learning and development partner with projects as required
  • Developing and maintaining positive, collaborative working relationships with all staff to sustain the reputation of the people services team as a customer focused function

Profile

The successful L&D Coordinator will have:

  • Fantastic interpersonal and customer facing skills, with a 'can do' attitude
  • Evidence of strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and multi-task effectively while considering future organisational requirements
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure whilst retaining a keen eye for detail
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to on-board information quickly and accurately
  • Ability to work appropriately with highly confidential information
  • Proactive and self-motivated

Desirable:

  • Learning and development qualification (or working towards it)
  • Knowledge of learning and organisation development activities
  • Experience of working with management systems
