My client is an established technology firm looking for a contract HR Manager with proven experience, who can hit the ground running and assist with a number of projects. This will be a 12 month contract and travel may be required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Internal promotion and salary reviews: advising on annual salary reviews, departmental restructuring, annual performance reviews and bonus payments
  • Larger scale off-boarding: redundancies, dismissals, conducting exit interviews, collation and analysis of leaver data
  • Employee relations: you will be proactive in preventing issues before they arise, acting as a point of contact for employee and managerial concerns and suggestions, fast and thorough resolution of problems
  • Review, development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with all colleagues within the business - working in the London office and remotely - including senior management and the executive team, delivering feedback where appropriate

Key skills:

  • 5-7 years post degree experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a good listener with a high level of integrity
  • Excellent written and spoken English, strong attention to detail
  • International experience a plus, especially knowledge of regional European employment law advantageous
  • Experience of or a commercial understanding of the European e-commerce business environment is an advantage

Academic Background:

  • Degree educated
  • CIPD an advantage
