Resourcing Operations Advisor

Greater London Authority

Central London

£39,501 per annum

Fixed Term

Ref: STAF1039

Our workforce and the people we recruit are essential for supporting the delivery of the Mayor’s vision for London.

As one of three newly created Resourcing Operations Advisors, this is a pivotal role in the GLA’s Resourcing Team which is responsible for providing a full range of recruitment services across the whole organisation, covering a wide range of roles in high profile teams, including the Mayor’s Office and the London Assembly.

You will be aligned to specific business areas, working closely with hiring managers and the HR Business Partner team, to develop a deep understanding of your directorates resourcing needs.  A key part of the role will be overseeing the smooth running of large volume and varied recruitment activity. You will directly manage a small number of your own high-profile campaigns and oversee the campaigns managed by your Resourcing Assistants, who you will have responsibility for supporting, developing and coaching.   You will be responsible for ensuring the experience is positive for all candidates and hiring managers and will support the delivery of key recruitment initiatives.

You will be an experienced recruiter who has supervised an in-house recruitment team to deliver a high-quality end to end recruitment service, and has the ability to work in a complex and political environment.  You will have good experience of using applicant tracking systems and evidence of your ability to influence managers at all levels and respond to change.  Candidates with strong experience of streamlining recruitment processes and improving operational efficiency, to ensure a first-class service is provided to hiring managers and candidates, will be at a distinct advantage.

This is an exciting time to join the team, with an opportunity to work on interesting recruitment campaigns and support key recruitment initiatives to ensure we remain an employer of choice and continue to attract and recruit excellent and diverse talent.

This role is a fixed term contract or secondment to July 2020.

We are committed to being an inclusive employer and we are happy to consider flexible working arrangements. We would welcome applications from candidates who are seeking part time work as this role is open to job share. We will also consider reduced hours arrangements (minimum 32 hours per week).

In addition to a good salary package, we offer an attractive range of benefits including 30 days’ annual leave, interest free season ticket loan, interest free bicycle loan, childcare voucher scheme and a career average pension scheme.

If you have a question about the role or the recruitment process then please contact a member of the recruitment team via email on andrew.baxter@london.gov.uk quoting reference STAF916.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate. If that sounds like you, please click on the apply button to visit our website.
