You'll lead a small specialist team responsible for 3 distinct areas; Pay Policy, Reward Strategy, Annual Pay Awards

Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and design appropriate pay and reward strategies which support, recognise and reward the successful achievement of business goals.

work with HR colleagues, trade unions and senior leadership teams to gain an inclusive and comprehensive understanding to inform proposals.

Ensure proposal support organisational strategy and workforce plans.

Working with finance colleagues to ensure pay strategies are fully costed and integrated with departmental spending reviews.

Manage the timely delivery of the annual awards.

Proactively mitigate against the potential for any pay related risk.

Management and delivery of pay related projects including but not limited to; Gender Pay reporting, Equal Pay Reviews, Salary bench -marking, changes to pay policy.

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

Sound knowledge of pay strategies within a complex matrix environment.

Experience developing innovative reward solutions

Building and developing and leading a small team of HR professionals.

Ability to build and maintain partnerships with a range of stakeholders, including trade unions to constructively challenge and provide appropriate feedback.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret large and complex sets of data.

Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects at pace.

Job Offer

Salary up to 44,331
