Head of HR

CfBT Schools Trust (CST) is a family of 16 schools, with over 1,000 employees, bound together by a commitment to inclusive education, collaborative working, evidence-based school improvement and high-quality CPD.

We are looking for a talented individual to promote exceptional HR practice across the Trust to complement our existing outsourced provision. This newly created post will proactively develop the Trust’s HR practice to ensure all our employees receive the highest quality experience and support.

The role would suit someone with a solid background in, and understanding of, the best HR practice who is ready to take on more strategic responsibilities and promote high standards in the management of human resources. The post holder will provide day-to-day support to line managers in schools and lead projects designed to improve practice.

The work base can be flexible, with the expectation that the postholder will spend one day a week in the Reading office and frequently visit the schools.
