Reward Specialist with a very interesting global business…

Job title – Reward Specialist

Location – Birmingham or Southampton (either location is fine)

Salary - £45-50k per annum + benefits

Contract type – Permanent, Full-time

Start date – The client would like someone to start in July or thereafter

Is this the best reward role that you will apply to today?

We like to make bold statements but we always back them up with a compelling story. We think that this is a brilliant opportunity and we are looking for the brightest and best in reward to join our client on a contract basis. We don’t want to tell you who they are just yet as that will spoil the surprise but we think that they are a great business to work for.

You will be working with a professional and good-humoured team that love what they do. They are incredibly engaged with the business they work for, understandably so. You will have a great boss and supportive colleagues around you. It really is a very nice place to work.

What does the job look like?

This is a large global business with around 8000 employees. The main focus of the role is to oversee the global bonus and salary review processes across the UK and Southern Europe (you do not need prior international experience). You may also be involved in recognition activity or in other Reward projects. Ultimately this is a role that requires you to have a strong grasp of compensation and benefits with an evident ability to manage annual reward processes.

Who are we looking for?

You will be comfortable handling process and numbers. This is key.

We are looking for someone with real passion and enthusiasm for what they do but also real maturity and a confidence in their own technical knowledge. Ultimately we are looking for a strong generalist in the field of compensation and benefits. Just as important is your ability to communicate and build relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders.

If you have worked as a Reward Specialist for another organisation that is of a reasonable order of magnitude that would be great. We are happy to consider people that have worked as a Reward Analyst who are ready to step up. If you have the experience required, then we will consider you.

It is a busy and fun working environment and we are looking for someone that is great at collaborating with their colleagues. It is also important that you have the intellectual agility to take stakeholders with you. This is a business that is heavily based on relationships and this certainly applies to this role. This job is not a business partner in title but we are looking for these skills from the successful candidate.

You will have managed compensation activities and will be a specialist in process (it would also help if you are a bit of an Excel guru!). The business uses SuccessFactors as their HRIS platform and while you do not need to have worked with this particular system, you do need to be able to find your way around this type of package.

What’s in it for you?

A very real opportunity to join a fantastic business. Whoever does this job will be able to work with a real sense of achievement as they deliver a great service in reward. If you are interested in a permanent opportunity in future, you will be in the right place to throw your hat in the ring when that role goes live.

We would love to tell you more about this job. Send us your CV and we can tell you all about it…

Company

Fetch Recruitment was set up by Yasmin Elezaj and Tommy Gale in 2017.  After years of working in and managing successful recruitment businesses, they decided to go into business together and have created an expert team.

Both with young families and very similar values in and out of work, they realised that they could offer excellent service to clients that were looking for a different approach to recruitment.

As such, Fetch is a very family oriented business.  We believe that if our recruiters have a good work-life balance, this will reflect in the service that they deliver for clients. This plays out in the quality of service that we provide.

Our team are not chained to their desks with their phone times being monitored. They are trusted to do what they are good at and because of this they go over and above. They all work from home and this means that we have good coverage across the UK as our team are spread out.

We created a commercial proposition that allows us to offer a far superior level of service to clients for much lower fees than our competitors. Everything that we do is about providing exceptional value and we think that we do this really well.
