Your new role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join a dedicated and ambitious HR team, who work hard to drive a culture that delivers academic excellence and the best possible student experience. Working collaboratively with HR colleagues and in partnership with your designated faculty, you will use your analytical ability to identify and prioritise operational requirements and the wider challenges faced by staff and stakeholders. Employee relations will be at the heart of your role, and with a proactive approach you will strive for timely and effective resolutions to a variety of complex cases, whilst ensuring hands on support in building the capability of managers. Combined with this, you will actively participate in process and policy development, change management initiatives and the dissemination of casework metrics and key performance indicators, in order to provide key insight to the HR Manager and strategic HR Business Partners.

What you'll need to succeed
A trusted and credible HR Advisor, you will be able to demonstrate value added ER support and excellent employment law knowledge. Furthermore, the team work closely with both academic and professional services staff so it's imperative that you can show exceptional communication skills and examples of fostering key relationships, along with using business intelligence to help your stakeholders to make informed, strategic decisions. The key is in the ability to add real value to the University's core business, which is academic delivery.
