I have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Learning and Development to join a fast paced and highly successful tech firm based in the City of London. This will be a 12 month FTC reporting into the Cheif People Officer.

Responsibilities:

Creating and driving a comprehensive and sustainable learning and development strategy.

Leading a team of L&D Specialists.

Ownership of the budget.

Identification, communication and assessment of industry innovations in Learning & Development.

Driving and maintaining a culture of personal growth, ensuring that employees are driving this themselve

Maintaining the Graduate & Fast Track Programme, including ensuring quality of training, delivery of training and learner involvement.

Train, motivate, evaluate, mentor and direct employees and managers to meet business strategic goals.

Guide and assist each business unit in developing quality introductory training plans and learning activities; maintain active follow up through ongoing coaching, guidance, and support.

Supporting managers in identifying their own training and development needs and designing training where necessary.

Evaluate training and development programmes; Amending and revising programmes as necessary

Experience:

Degree in HRM, L&D or ORG Design or CIPD qualification Level 5 or above (or equivalent) . 3+ years experience

At least 8 years of operational experience

Project Management - knowledge and experience of planning, organising and managing projects to accomplish a quality outcome on time and on budget.

Budgets & financials - knowledge of financial operational parameters, knowledge of how to monitor spend

Superior communication, both written and verbal

Results oriented

Open, honest and trustworthy

Confident and dynamic public speaker

Creative - can think big and think forward

Works well on their own, able to set and meet deadlines with quality results.

Ability to influence others

Assertive and willing to challenge others

Ability to work in a fast paced and quickly changing environment
