An Interim Senior L&D Advisor job near Woking, paying c£45K pa d.o.e., identifying & actioning training needs.

Your new company
A Large international brand close to Woking. Due to a period of leave, a Senior L&D Advisor is required for up to 12 months.

Your new role
As the Senior Learning and Development Advisor you will manage the Learning and Development function to ensure appropriate training needs are identified and delivered to the business, within budget to maximise employee performance. Diagnosing issues, identifying learning needs and providing creative solutions in line with business objectives. You will be a role model of the company values, and will partner with the business to build meaningful relationships through which employee performance is maximised.

Key responsibilities include; Development and management of the training catalogue for UK based and regional employees. Analysis of training needs across the business to support with technical skills training. With support from the HR Advisory team, develop and implement both short and long-term training plans based on this analysis. Evaluating all training programs to ensure continuous added value and ROI, including employee induction, manager induction, management programmes, soft and technical skills training. Accountable for the maintenance and development of Learning Systems and tools. Ensure the most appropriate learning and development tools, mechanisms and approaches are created and implemented for all types of skills and experience. Development and implement L&D initiatives to drive continuous development of employees. Delivery of training as required. Ensure training material and documentation is up to date and available to relevant stakeholders Responsible for communications around L&D, driving awareness of L&D opportunities and programmes. Accountable for the L&D budget. Act as a role model and mentor to the wider HR team. Line manage the Training Co-ordinator


What you'll need to succeed
Successful experience of managing change effectively in a rapidly growing company. A clear understanding of the commercial drivers of the business and how HR can play a key role in the success of the organisation. Experience of partnering with all levels of managers to produce long term development plans for their teams. A good knowledge of the difference between training and development and the potential range of solutions on offer. An understanding of employee engagement that is beyond the theoretical, and can demonstrate it with practical examples of how to improve it in the workplace. Good coaching skills.Experience of full generalist HR remit (including employee relations, resourcing, learning and development, talent management and reward and recognition)


What you'll get in return
