EMEA Payroll Specialist £45k to £55k + Bonus & Package - Central London A leading global Hedge Fund seek an experienced EMEA Payroll Specialist to head up their UK and EMEA payrolls. You will be the subject matter expert for everything to do with the payrolls and pensions and will work closely with the HR Team and all external providers. The role: Responsible for ensuring accurate payroll data for 9 monthly payrolls in the UK and EMEA, setting up new employees, updating employee changes, recording and monitoring payments of any new hire special payments, and ensuring terminations are successfully captured by the payroll provider via the Workday IntegrationMaintain compliant and accurate country-specific payrolls, pension and income tax dataUpdate and maintain any changes to CloudPay payroll system - Calculate benefits deductions, holiday pay, terminations, and any leaves of absence relevant in those countries. Support the payroll, employee tax and pension set up of any new EMEA region office openings, working with Cloudpay and the internal project teamsEnsure that all PAYE and Social Security obligations are correctly paid in a timely mannerEnsure that all Government obligations and reports are always metWork with the external payroll provider to manage the annual processes, including the filing, production & distribution of year end certificates/returnsPartner with other areas of the firm in matters relating to expats, new offices, relocations, P11Ds or any other employer questions that may ariseWork with US payroll manager to ensure US citizen shadow payroll is reflected properly Pensions:Stay up to date on changing pension legislation in all locations to ensure compliance Skills Required: Demonstrate a clear understanding of all aspects of payroll (UK & EMEA) along with previous experience in managing outsourced payroll suppliers (CloudPay experience desirable but not essential)Working knowledge of payroll best practices and payroll legislation including PAYE, SSP, SMP, RTI & Auto Enrolment and pension regulationsHigh degree of professionalism with ability to deal sensitively with confidential materialStrong communication skills with the ability to communicate with various levels of employeesStrong PC skills including proficiency in ExcelAble to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment; High sense of urgencyQuick learner, extremely detail oriented; Demonstrable thoroughness and strong ownership of workExcellent team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others
