Global Payroll Manager £80,000 to £90,000 + Benefits & Bonus - City

A leading, global Fintech Business seek an experienced Global Payroll Manager to head up their current team and then drive and own their offering globally.

Reporting into the Global CFO you will be responsible for the day to day management of the team, which not only involves making sure that employees and taxes are paid correctly and on time but also liaising closely with the Human Resources department on policy questions and employee changes, along with the Management Accounting team to ensure all entries are reflected correctly in our systems and that pensions contributions and benefits have been correctly calculated and paid.

Working in an international role requires a good grasp of international payroll issues, practices and cross border matters such as the management of expat payroll's and payroll tax issues.

The role:

You will be seen as the leader of the team and asked to handle and resolve complex and often apparently intractable problems. You will need to be decisive and not afraid to take responsibility.

You will approve and check all payroll's and payments and will be expected to proactively improve and change processes

You will be the key point of contact across a number of departments, running from treasury to AP to HR and of course across the business and across the world.

You will be the main point of contact for the vendors, such as tax, benefits and pensions.

Skills/Experience:

Previous experience as a Payroll Manager covering the EMEA and LATAM regions

Understanding of APAC region payroll not required but beneficial

Proven experience of pensions and benefits administration as well as rolling out new overseas payrolls

You must be comfortable with expatriates and related tax issues

A process driven approach whilst remaining customer service focused

You will have a responsive, can do attitude demonstrating flexibility where required

Management of people and a team is essential

The ability to gel well with the wider Finance Team and Human Tesources colleagues
