Henlee Resourcing is working in close partnership with this specialist business services group based in Swindon to recruit a talented Learning and Development Coordinator on a permanent basis. The role will be based from the Head Office in Swindon with very occasional travel across the UK.

 

Reporting to the L&D Partner, you will be responsible for supporting the day to day coordination of internal training activities across the UK. You will work on both a team basis and in a stand-alone capacity and as such, the you will need to be confident in your ability and be able to prioritise in a fast-paced working environment.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for providing a learning and development service to the designated teams, coordinating all areas of training as appropriate
  • Support the L&D Partner in delivering and maintaining the Company's L&D plan
  • Support line managers in delivering their local training plans in accordance to their functional requirements
  • Work closely with managers in matters of continuous development and learning for the benefit of the organisation
  • Support the L&D Partner with monthly KPI reporting for the training function
  • Training record management
  • Develop and implement interactive and web-based training tools to support business growth
  • Establish and implement effective product training modules in line with product development and updates
  • Support the delivery of all L&D activities
  • Arranging and supporting inductions and onboarding for new employees
  • Organising external training courses including obtaining quotes from external suppliers, requesting purchasing approval, booking training on external portals, confirming attendance requirements, etc
  • Organising internal courses as appropriate including venue and hotel bookings
  • Assist in the implementation a robust and effective L&D system with support from the L&D Partner

Key / Desirable Skills:

  • Training and delivery methodologies
  • Blended learning approaches
  • Interactive / web-based training activities
  • Training record management
  • Ideally 2 years experience in a training / L&D environment
  • Possesses or working towards a nationally recognised professional training qualification will be an advantage
  • Experience of working in a medium to large size multi-national or sales focused organisation
