A fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner within a growing, exciting business. This role is primarily based in Manchester and involves regional travel as required to the sites across the Northern and Southern regions.

Key responsibilities:

Assisting with the delivery of the HR strategy within your client group.
Supporting the business in driving and managing change effectively, using change management tools and processes to ensure that teams continue to operate effectively.
Coaching business leaders and managers and being their trusted advisor, not just on people issues but on business decisions and direction.
Reviewing performance management, resource budgets and utilisation statistics to support efficient workforce planning.
Influencing and being part of project teams delivering business strategies and initiatives.
Monitoring, measuring and reporting on HR issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements, through HR data analysis, to enable fact based decision making.
Influencing reward decisions effectively within the business group, ensuring compliance with the group reward approach and fairness and consistency of decision making.
Co-ordinating the salary review and bonus allocation process for the relevant teams, taking accountability for ensuring that decisions are accurately captured and processed.
Championing the learning agenda within teams, and ensuring participation in the relevant programmes for individuals depending on their performance and potential.
Developing talent and succession plans, working to ensure that the diversity profile of your client group improves in line with the group's objectives for inclusivity.
Supporting line managers to carry out the development activities identified in the plans in terms of both formal training and work place activities.
Delivering training sessions to line managers on all relevant aspects of the HR annual cycle, i.e. appraisals, induction day one etc.
Responsible for dealing with Employee Relations across business areas, such as absence management, disciplinary and grievance and performance management.
Supporting and coaching HR Advisors to deal with these when necessary.
Making continuous improvements to our policies and procedures in line with best practice and identifying changes required in line with legislation.
Working with the Recruitment Manager to identify resourcing requirements for the areas of support and ensure that a recruitment process is delivered effectively by Line Managers.
Conducting exit interviews as required, monitoring turnover reasons, identifying patterns suggesting resulting areas for improvement/change.
Working closely with the HR Advisors to ensure that payroll changes such as deductions, starters and leavers are captured and actioned.
Support delivery of the HR Strategy and partnering model.

Skills and experience required:

Successful candidates will ideally be fully CIPD qualified and have experience in a generalist advisory role and management of relationships at a senior level.
Will have a good understanding and practical experience of complex Employee Relations, Payroll, Reward and strong Learning and Development delivery skills.
Ideally your experience will include exposure to organisational development and change management.
You will be able to demonstrate a track record of coaching, motivating and influencing at management level using pragmatic and data-based approach.
You will have well-developed commercial acumen, with the ability to contribute to the wider business and HR agenda and to deputise for the Senior HR Business Partner/Chief People Officer as necessary.

Working Hours:

37.5 hours each week with flexibility required to meet the needs of the business.
