Are you capable of leading and managing a recruitment function, while taking ownership of all senior leadership hires for a prestigious city firm?
Network HR have been retained on a search for a Head of Recruitment for a leading firm based in Central London. This is an opportunity for an experienced recruitment specialist to sit as a part of the senior leadership team and step into a role as trusted adviser to the CEO/ Partners of the business shaping the future of the firm.
Reporting to the Group HR Director, this appointment comes with ownership and management of the full UK Recruitment agenda and budget for the practice. You will have responsibility for building the Director/ Partner team of the firm providing a high touch service. While there is a balance of operational v's strategic duties, there is definitely an expectation that direct sourcing of all senior hires will be delivered by this individual. As the Head of Recruitment you will have a hands on approach to leading and managing the department, overseeing day to day activity and providing support and guidance as and when required.
This role requires an individual that will be highly visible across the business therefore the ability to build an authentic personal brand will be imperative, with expert senior stakeholder/relationship management skills. Key stakeholders will range from Senior Leadership Team level through to C-Suite and there is a requirement for someone to coach, advise and educate managers and business leaders on Recruitment strategy and workforce planning, therefore, you must be able to demonstrate what ‘good' looks like.
Key Accountabilities:
• End-to-end recruitment of all senior hires including Heads of Departments, Partners & Directors
• Engage and manage search firms and subsequent recruitment process
• Create candidate pipelines for relevant fee earning service lines
• Assist in identifying and managing the recruitment process for opportunistic senior hires
• Where appropriate, lead compensation discussions with candidates, including performance related incentives, guaranteed bonuses and equity buy out
• Manage both the experience hire (three headcount) and trainee recruitment (two headcount) teams
• Direct line management of five reports
• Ensure all recruitment activity meets the requirements of internal processes (e.g. authorisation, appointments and remuneration committees)
• Ensure all recruitment activity is joined up with input from the HR generalist and L&D teams
• Day to day oversight of the experienced and trainee hire recruitment team and activity therein
• Act as a point of escalation for any experienced hire recruitment issues
• Act as the key point of contact within HR for all recruitment matters
• Meet and communicate effectively with key stakeholders across the Group including Co-CEO's, members of the Executive Committees and Heads of Departments
• Regularly meet key stakeholders both in London and across the firm's 11 other offices in the UK and Ireland

Person specification:
• University degree preferable
• Relevant HR or industry professional qualifications advantageous
• Significant recruitment experience ideally gained within both agency/search and in-house
• Demonstrable knowledge of the UK accounting and/or investment management sectors
• Hands on experience of delivering executive level recruitment
• Knowledge of FCA/PRA regulation and its impact on recruitment (e.g. remuneration code, SMC/CPR requirements) is essential
• Experience or exposure to trainee recruitment desirable
• Experienced team and people manager
• Practical knowledge of UK employment law and it application to recruitment
