3 month ER Advisor role for a Government organisation in central London. £210-£235 per day, starting ASAP.

Your new company
You will be working as an ER Advisor within a Government department, on a 2-3 month interim basis until the end of July 2019. The role is based in Southwark and is to cover permanent recruitment.
Day rates are either £210 PAYE per day or £235 UMBRELLA per day. The role will start ASAP and candidates must be available on 1 week's notice or less. Working hours will vary on a daily basis, and will be either 8:30am - 4:30pm or 9:30am - 5:30pm, across Monday - Friday.

Your new role
Reporting to the ER Manager, you will work as part of a team of 12 ER Advisors, providing first level advice to Managers purely over the phone or email, on sickness, absence and grievances. You will not have a specific client group, but will advise any Managers who call into the team for advice. You will escalate any complex cases to the ER Partners. The aim is to ensure that Managers become more self-sufficient and able to manage their own ER cases, with your advice and guidance. Duties include managing a caseload of 30-35 low level ER cases, acting as first point of contact on case management support for line managers and advise on interpretation of HR policy, procedure and best practice. You will also advise on absence management, occupational health referrals and update the case management system on case progress.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be available on 1 week's notice or less and it is essential that candidates have caseload management experience and have worked in Unionised environments.
