HR Advisor

Oakleaf Partnership are pleased to be working with one of the leading, magic circle law firms on an exciting new HR Advisor vacancy. Their offices are based in the City of London and this will be a 12 month FTC. Reporting directly into the HR Manager, this is a great opportunity.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

Building strong working relationships with the Partners and Business Services population

Managing and assisting with employee relations cases

Co-ordinating and supporting with the running of the Year-End and Mid-Year performance review process

Supporting the management of the lifecycle of employees, including running inductions and exit interviews

Collating and analysing management information

Supporting the development of HR policies and procedures

Keep abreast of industry trends and developments

Work closely with the wider HR team to provide support and guidance where required to provide a seamless service to the business

Work on ad-hoc projects in HR Advisory and Resourcing and the wider HR team

The successful candidate will ideally be/have:

Worked in a similar role with experience within a professional services environment (ideally legal)

Qualified at graduate level and preferably CIPD qualified or part-qualified

Client focused

Good working knowledge of employment law and best practice HR management

Experience of using HR systems and management information

Ability to build strong business relationships

A confident, proactive individual prepared to take a hands-on approach to managing their workload using their own initiative

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task, keep calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines

Excellent attention to detail and good use of grammar

Proven experience of Microsoft Office Packages and excellent administrative skills and experience

Proven ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism

High level of professionalism and integrity
