L&D Business Partner
L&D Business Partner - up to £40000 + car allowance
Our client is well regarded and successful business with a national presence. They are currently investing heavily in their HR and L&D Functions in order to improve their people and management capabilities. This is a key role to be able to deliver that project successfully. Aligned to a specific client group you will be setting the standard for the way that L&D Business Partners work in the new environment.
Responsibilities will include
- Building relationships with key operational stakeholders to enable you to understand individual, team and corporate learning needs and deliver against them.
- Improving, developing and delivering a wide range of management & leadership development solutions
- Supporting the people strategy to improve management capabilities by coaching and supporting key operational managers.
- Working alongside the L&D Manager to modernise L&D strategy, process and material.
We are looking for a high performing, self motivated and organised individual with proven experience as an L&D Business Partner. You will need to be able to drive a more joined up and strategic approach to L&D in a business where managers are more used to just booking themselves on to a course.
You MUST have good L&D qualifications and proof that you have an interest in your own Continuous Professional Development. You will also need regional experience and exposure to a fast paced commercial environment. You should be comfortable being asked to show where you have been able to make a return on L&D investment.
The role will require travel across the country (2-3 nights away from home each month is expected) however you will have control over your own diary. Given that you will be seen as a lead L&D Business Partner within the team it makes most sense to be based close to their Birmingham Head Office.
