Ashley Kate is pleased to partnering our client on a retained basis in their search for Deputy HR Director to join them on a full-time basis

Reporting to the Deputy CEO this role will operate as the HR strategic lead for the charity and will be responsible for the development and implementation of the People and L&D strategies. You will contribute to the organisations overall strategy and policy making by advising the Executive Directors on the people implications. You will lead, develop, support and motivate a high performing team that works collaboratively and effectively to understand and advise on key business drivers, risks and opportunities from a people perspective.

About you

  • Experience of the Charity or Not for Profit sector preferred, however candidates with a strong affiliation to a charity from the private sector may be considered.
  • A successful track record in leading, developing and motivating a HR team with a strong business partnering approach to support ongoing change and innovation.
  • Significant experience across a broad range of HR including, employment legislation, developing a reward strategy, employee engagement and best practice.
  • Strong track record of developing and implementing HR strategies aligned to strategic priorities.
  • Experience of HR management information systems and experience of identifying where technology can add value to business processes, alongside using data to drive change.
  • Excellent team management, leadership and coaching skills.
  • Possesses strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make sound strategic decisions, define measurable targets and monitor progress.
  • Willingness to travel outside London when needed.
