Job Title: Senior HR Advisor
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000

Ashley Kate are working with a manufacturing business based in Bedford who are looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the HR Director and working with the General Manager you will support a head count of 200 employees. This is an ideal opportunity for a passionate HR professional who enjoys working in a fast paced and progressive environment who is looking to develop their career.

About you
·Experience of implementing complex HR interventions in a blue collar, fast-paced and challenging environment
·Knowledge of best practice Human Resources approaches and the evidence behind them.
·Experience of working closely with senior management.
·Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
·Resilient to changing circumstances and challenges.


Key tasks and responsibilities include:
·Play a leadership role in implementing key, long-term interventions in the areas of employee and leadership development, talent readiness, employee engagement programs, organisational culture and diversity.
·Help the business through transformations and adapting to changing business conditions.
·Ensure effective application of the performance management programme.
·Manage employee relation issues with a focus on risk mitigation and effective problem resolution.
·Manage the development, refinement and/or communication of HR policies, procedures and practices to ensure sound leadership application and legal compliance.
·Work with the leadership team and line managers, providing guidance and support with people related strategy
·Provide practical solutions to issues around employee relations.
·Oversee the formal annual performance and development (appraisal) process; training managers and identifying/addressing performance issues.
