An international Law firm are looking for an HR Business Partner to join their team in Chelmsford. Reporting into the Head of HR, this role will provide proactive and commercial HR business partnering to the firm. As HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):Business PartneringActing as an expert in field and being considered as a trusted advisor by internal clientsActing as an internal "client facing" representative of the HR Business Partnering teamEstablishing excellent working relationships with Senior Management and Partners based on an understanding of their needs and business objectivesContinuously developing an understanding of the wider business, it's needs and objectivesThinking commercially and creatively in order to identify ways in which HR initiatives and projects can add value to the businessManaging and contributing to HR projects as requiredWorking closely with other HR specialisms to deliver a holistic serviceEmployee RelationsActing as point of contact for all employee relations mattersTaking ownership of the New Joiner Review process and delivering effective HR advice to supervisors in respect of new joiner performanceProviding supervisors with coaching and guidance on managing performanceImplementing a Health & Wellbeing policy and delivering HR advice to managers in respect of managing sickness absenceSupporting check-ins, continuous review and feedback processCarrying out the salary review process for client groups with relevant colleaguesDelivering large scale change projectsGeneral DutiesCovering for Head of HR during absencesAs HR Business Partner, you will possess:Previous HR business partnering and employee relations experienceHigh levels of organization and ability to operate within a busy and fast paced environmentProven experience dealing with complex employee relations scenariosProven skills in influencing and negotiation with senior managementExperience working within a Professional Services environment (ideally)If this HR Business Partner role is of interest, please apply directly.
