Purpose of the Resourcing Advisor:

Based in the Employee Resourcing Centre, the Resourcing Advisor manages and coordinates selected vacancies, providing effective recruitment advice and administration for managers and internal/external applicants.

As the Resourcing Advisor you will deputise for the Resourcing Team Leader or HR Operations Manager as required and work as a senior member of the Resourcing team.

The Resourcing Advisor manages and coordinates a variety of vacancies across the company.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Resourcing Advisor include:

  • Representing Employee Resourcing at meetings to provide stakeholders establishment requirements, recruitment planning, shortfalls, analyse recruitment trends, highlight issues, provide feedback, fill training courses.

  • Manage selected vacancies in accordance with the company's Recruitment and Selection policy ensuring that recruitment targets are met in line with company objectives.

  • Control high volume recruitment campaigns ensuring that these are delivered within agreed timeframes.

  • Attend and actively participate in the weekly recruitment planning meeting. Provide monthly recruitment figures.

  • Effectively line manage an Assistant Resourcing Advisor (as required).

  • Liaise closely with the company's outsourced occupational health providers, ensuring that pre-employment screening is coordinated and that the providers are managed accordingly in relation to day to day recruitment matters, escalating issues to the Resourcing Team Leader when required.

  • Coordinate high volume recruitment campaigns based on operational business needs.

  • Participate in interview panels and manage assessment centres for all grades of staff as required.

  • Administer the end to end recruitment process, including ensuring that all pre-employment checks are completed prior to a candidate commencing employment in accordance with national Employment Check Standards.

  • Issue and ensure the return of signed contracts for new staff or those changing role.

  • Produce offer letters tailored to each appointment.

Profile

In-house Recruiter - Crawley - not for profit

Specification of the Resourcing Advisor:

  • CIPD Certificate in Personnel Practice (CCP) or similar.

  • Educated to Bachelors degree/Diploma level or equivalent evidenced relevant qualification

  • Knowledge of HR systems

  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Ms Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet).

  • Have a good understanding of employment law.

  • Excellent customer care and relationship building skills.

  • Previous high volume recruitment exposure

  • Best Practice in recruitment & Selection process

  • Highly organised with excellent administration skills.

  • Highly developed selection interviewing skills

  • High standard of computer literacy with good keyboard skills.

  • Reliability ability to work on his/her own or in a team.

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Calm, professional approach with the ability to run several recruitment campaigns at once.

  • Ability to travel between sites for work purposes
