£61,607 - £72,519 including London weighting

Based in Finchley

An exciting opportunity is available for the right person to establish and develop this role within North London Hospice.

We are looking for someone with proven ability and determination to work strategically across the organisation, bringing together our HR and OD, volunteering and internal communication activities, who is perceptive, creative and inspirational and can demonstrate the ability to support staff in all roles through significant change.  Whilst being comfortable and highly effective operating at a high level, the Director will also need to display consummate professionalism and capability in personally dealing with individual people matters, including the more complex ER, welfare and performance issues.  

Reporting to the CEO, the Director of People will be a key member of the Executive Team, working closely with the Trustees and wider management team to deliver first-class service within the financially challenged charitable sector.
