Fantastic role working for a rapidly growing organisation in a dynamic environment. Ideal for someone with 1-2 years experience as a HR Assistant looking for a new challenge, or someone beginning their career in HR.

Client Details

My client are within the Marketing industry and are rapidly growing overseas and in the UK. They have a medium sized HR team based in Watford and are looking to expand due to growth. The company have a laid back culture and are friendly and collaborative and able to offer great training and progression. They are seeking a HR Assistant on a long term, temporary basis to assist with the employee life cycle, contracts and offer letters, recruitment and more.

Description

As a HR Assistant, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Maintaining employee files on database
  • New starters - contracts, offer letters
  • Leavers - exit interviews
  • Collating information for payroll processing including holiday and sickness
  • Recruitment - post adverts on job boards, screen candidates, arrange and conduct telephone interviews, arrange face to face interviews
  • Liaise with agencies
  • Creating monthly reports using Excel
  • Minute taking
  • Act as main point of contact for HR Queries

Profile

The successful candidate will be:

  • A team player, able to communicate effectively to all aspects of the business
  • Able to work well on their own and take initiative
  • Organised and able to effectively prioritise workload
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ideally studying for CIPD
  • Previous experience in HR
