A short term opportunity to add value in a public sector body, by giving recruitment guidence and advice. Will also be line managing an administrator.

The client is a busy public sector body based in Edinburgh.
Description
Key responsibilities include;
- support the Recruitment & Resourcing Manager to provide a comprehensive and professional service to all SCTS staff.
- involvement in refining and improving existing processes and procedures and will provide line management support to an Administrative Officer, supporting managers and candidates through all aspects of the recruitment journey
- ensuring resourcing policies and processes are up-to-date and remain compliant with external legislation, such as the Recruitment Principles.
- working closely with job applicants, recruiting managers, HR colleagues and other stakeholders to help identify opportunities for simplification, modernisation and automation.
Profile
The successful candidate will be an expert in recruitment, be familiar with various recruitment systems, be able to commit to a 6 month contract and also be able to comfortably line manage an administrator.
