I'm excited to be working exclusively with a fast growth start-up business on their search for a HR Manager.
Founded in 2013, the business has now grown to 50 staff across 2 locations and is looking to double in size in the next two years, so you are joining at a really exciting time in their journey!
The business has had support from a HR Consultant over the past few years but are now looking to hire their first full time HR manager to support their business as they grow. This is a truly generalist standalone role where you will be responsible for recruitment, working with the senior management team to develop their HR strategy, L&D including building development pathways, reward & recognition, advising on any ER/performance issues and employee engagement.
Their office is vibrant and non-corporate (they have office dogs!). In order to be successful in this role you'll need to be able to build strong relationships with employees but also work with the senior management team - you'll need to coach and guide them in their decision making and will need to be quite resilient!
The ideal candidate will have worked in a standalone role, or a small HR team and be comfortable working in a start up/SME environment. They are not looking for someone incredibly process orientated - you'll need to be able to flex your approach.
You will be proactive, dynamic and enthusiastic but will need to be able to stand your ground and back yourself with your HR knowledge.
