An exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor from the Retail/ Hospitality industry to join a small, creative and proactive team of 4 within a growing Fashion Brand based in the hub of Central London.

The successful HR Advisor will support the Head of HR in providing professional and proactive support and advice to the business (office and frontline teams) and will take ownership for areas of responsibility including operational level support, employee relations, recruitment, HR workflows and processes.

Broad HR experience, advising and coaching within a fast paced retail environment, is essential, with previous experience managing ER cases and a positive and enthusiastic approach to delivering to a high level.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise line managers and employees on general day to day HR queries.

Act as a main point of contact for employees across the UK and Ireland, handling general employment enquiries, escalating when necessary to the Head of HR.

Manage and advise on ER cases, including investigation and disciplinary processes.

Work with the internal client group to provide guidance in relation to probationary periods and develop line managers on the performance management process.

Ensure line managers understand the policies and procedures and encourage compliance.

Support the Head of HR, in the annual appraisal/mid-year processes.

Support in the coordination of the annual pay review process.

Support the Head of HR in the implementation of talent and development strategies.

Recognising development gaps and working with the Head of HR to provide solutions.

Support Recruitment.

Work collaboratively on a day to day basis with the HR Coordinator, specifically in payroll processing and within cut-off deadline.

General administrative support within the HR Team.

Skills, knowledge and personal attributes required

Solid HR Advisor experience within Retail is essential

Knowledge of UK and Ireland employment law and regulations

Highly competent user of MS Office packages, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, oral and written, with a pleasant and accommodating disposition

Strong commercial awareness

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, being flexible in approach to meet the requirements of the business

Demonstrable ability to use initiative and be proactive whilst approaching tasks with enthusiasm and drive

Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, highly organised with an ability to multi task and work with a high volume of admin

Strong numerical skills Education level Graduate calibre (Bachelor) CIPD Qualified preferred but not essential
