We are recruiting for a fantastic organisation in Bury St Edmunds - who offer a wonderful working environment and strong benefits, including free parking and 33 days annual leave.

This role is ideally suited to someone with strong HR experience, ideally working with some advisory responsibilities. It is a strong generalist role, supporting a high performing HR function. CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential.

This will be a varied role where no two days are the same. It will cover all areas of HR and will include the following areas, amongst others:

• Providing sound HR advice to senior managers
• General HR queries, including employment law queries
• Assisting in monthly reporting and MI production
• Assisting the HR Manager with employee relations - grievance, disciplinary
• Managing the Health and Wellbeing team
• Assisting with recruitment activities
• Administration of benefits
• Onboarding, offboarding and managing sickness absence

The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator who enjoys problem solving and forward thinking. They will very much be the right hand person to the HR Manager and will work closely with them.

The HR Advisor may, on occasion, be required to travel to other sites with possible overnight stays due to our wide spread geographical locations. A full clean driving licence is therefore desired.
